Seen on the Mahonie loop (near Punda Maria) on 15 October. Sorry for the poor quality - it was quite far off and restless, so I only managed a snapshot.

One of the highlights for our group during the 2007 KNP Birding weekend. Spotted one on the Klopperfontein Road not to far after turning of the tar near Punda.

Was lucky enough to see one in a Mopanie tree next to the entrance gate at Sirheni in 2005

We usually stop at the short inlet about 10km in on the Mahonie loop, driving clockwise, for early morning coffee. During one such stop on our January 2012 trip we were entertained by a couple of these birds. There were 3 of them in the tree just before I took this photo. We also saw one leucistic bird in the tree right next to the car but unfortunately it flew off before I could get any shot off. Not the greatest but I was very happy to get some record shots.
