I trust it was something you ate, rather than something we said, that caused this unfortunate state of affairs for you michel.

The pleasure is what I get out of this forum and, unfortunately, so is the pain of not being there

I joined the forum out of curiosity, and to find out more about KNP as we will be visiting there in September. My wife and I always like to know as much as possible about new places BEFORE we get there. I thought that the forum would be the right place to get educated. Boy was I right! Members like Meandering Mouse and others have been a great help to us. This will be our second visit to South Africa, and our first to KNP. We feel more prepared, and eagerly await our departure for Africa in September!

If you cant remember..have a guess

I have been visiting Kruger since a child (and many of our other national treasures). Now that I have my own children, it is important to pass on the love and appreciation for our beautiful country and it's fauna and flora. We travel to Kruger every second year and the children are all avid KNP junkies and stiffnecks-in-the-making!
For years, I kept an eye on the webcams but did not really discover the Forums until this year and it took me a while before I became a member again(I couldn't find my old forum name and password!!)
I find it is just as entertaining as reading a good book..... and I love reading . We recently attended our first meet and met some really special people. Sharing our passion and stories, whether it be online or in person, is a great part of each day!
It goes hand in glove with a good cuppa coffee.

I am on the forum because ever since I was 3 or 4 years old my parents started taking me to Kruger for a holiday and and I loved it so much that growing up knowing that every two years we go to Kruger is like I'm going back home. ( btw now 13 )We still go to Kruger except now we go with our friends and we Camp.I am on the forum today because one day my dad was looking at the Sanparks website and he discovered the forum. For about a month I begged him to let me have my own profile so that i could see what was happening in the best place ever (Kruger). He eventually let me and this is where I am today on the forum !!!
