That's a juvie fish eagle Son godin (unfortunately :| )

I've only seen osprey once -- drifting along the stream while I was doing the Mooiplasie hiking trail in Dinokeng with no proper :cam: gear handy! The bins worked fine though so I spent a nice minute or two lying flat on my back watching the osprey drifting/flapping along :D

Good evening,
On 12 March 2012 around 5.12pm we were driving on the H4-1 between Nkuhlu and Lower-Sabie when we stopped for a beautifull Fish Eagle on a dry tree branch near the road. A few meters on we took photos of the juvenile Fish Eagle not far from his parent....or so we thought. I only realised afterwards that it was definately not a Fish Eagle, but a beautiful Osprey (Visvalk).
