I used to be able to click on a page icon at the top of the screen to enlarge pictures , can no longer do so .
Any advice ?

That is not a function offered by the site/forums...

Google Chrome , previously standard Google , but while still on it at some stage the option simply dissappeared .

In the old forum setup if you clicked on the image it enlarged
But i suspect that it also has to do with what size used for submitting
them on the forum?

I actually could click on an "page" icon alongside "check" , "autofill" , "sign in" on the top of the screen , its now absent , could it be due to installation of a new microsoft 2007 windows package ?
If so , is it not strange that the older windows package had the page icon ?

Nope Bert, that's a feature of Chrome in this case.
Well, was it seems.

What always works is download the photo to a folder on your machine, and use Irfanview (or such) to zoom on the photo.

The "page" icon alongside "check" , "autofill" , "sign in" are all functions of the browser, or a toolbar.

Give somebody else a chance too.

The ctrl ++ works very well and can of course become ctrl++++ for more magnification (and then ctrl--- to reduce again).

Or in Windows XP you can also use the magnifier. Go Start> all programs> accessories> accessibility> magnifier. It takes some getting used to but works very well and is also adjustable re magnification.

Ctrl 0 returns it to normal size.

Can someone tell me why this all works on my laptop but not on my PC?

Sprocky, it depends on the version of the software. Here at work I've got IE6 - doesn't work. At home I've got IE8 - works like a charm. Both I've got Windows XP.

sprocky maybe you should try firefox, there is a free add-on to the browser that allows you to zoom into the photo and also click on it to display against a single colour background. works great for me

Morning all, Sprocky you can download the free version of Picasa (http://www.picasa.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and it will manage all your previews and zooming. You have to register and they also give you free storage space (1 Gb).
