Fluid Architecture worked in collaboration with Tamem Richa Architecture and Interiors on the design and installation of the interiors of the Hoerikwaggo™ Table Mountain Trail overnight accommodation.
Their approach toward interior design is stimulating, progressive and contemporary yet efficient and comfortable. For this project the furniture and fittings are influenced by the diverse culture of South Africa and this was achieved by using local arts & crafts, artists & artisans combined with a specific selection of materials, fittings and colors.
Each cottage depicts a different style coupled with the day’s journey: the Platteklip Wash House in Deer Park has a vibrant feel associated with the City, while on the other hand, the Overseers Cottage on back Table reflects the immaculate environment and the fynbos of the mountain.
